Hi there. My name is Christy ( as you could probably tell ) and this is where I get to tell you a little about myself.
I am a native of Michigan's Thumb area. It's a really beautiful place and I get a lot of inspiration from the things I see around here. I have also travelled around the country....so I also find inspiration in things that I have seen elsewhere.
I have been with the Thumb Art Guild for 5 years and I really enjoy being a part of the group.
I have gotten a few awards at some of the local art shows, and I have also taught some classes involving children in this area.
I really enjoy painting because of the relaxation it provides, while being a challenge to improve my work at the same time.
